Dena Burton is the Mastermind behind The Dena Burton Collection. As a native of Chicago and graduate of Howard University in Washington, DC, Dena moved to California to work in several capacities of the entertainment industry, including TV, short films and theatre. It was also where she decided to pursue her dream of fashion design. After becoming a Karen Kane scholarship recipient at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), Dena produced her first collection where she received numerous accolades from industry leaders, press and peers.
The Dena Burton Collection Lifestyle Brand continues to broaden its presence by appearing in several of the exclusive fashion events such as, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week LA, San Francisco Fashion Week, Miami Fashion Week and LA Fashion Week. Because Dena believes in giving back, she has showcased the collection in Africa as well as Jamaica for various charities. Dena's success and rising popularity has fortified the brand's vision, by seeing women feel and become confident with their own sense of purpose. The Dena Burton Collection solidifies this concept of being for every woman; whether she is an executive board member or woman aspiring to be more, and all those in between.
